With a passion for experiential education, leadership development, and therapeutic recreation, Matt Leonoudakis has dedicated his career to harnessing the power of hands-on learning to empower students, educators, and communities. As a Business Development Representative and Trainer at All It Takes (AIT), Matt brings a unique blend of program facilitation and outdoor leadership to expand the reach of AIT’s transformative programming across Southern California and beyond.

Matt’s career is built on a foundation of service, inclusion, and personal growth, with over 4,500 hours of facilitation experience in adventure-based learning, team development, and social-emotional education. His expertise spans high ropes facilitation, therapeutic recreation, and youth development, having worked with organizations such as The Painted Turtle, California State University Northridge, Fulcrum Adventures, and American Jewish University. Whether guiding students through confidence-building high ropes challenges, fostering teamwork among corporate professionals, or training educators in SEL methodologies, Matt is committed to helping individuals unlock their full potential through experiential learning.

Currently pursuing his Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential, Matt is dedicated to creating inclusive recreational experiences that support mental health, social-emotional development, and personal empowerment. At The Painted Turtle, he facilitates adaptive high ropes programs for children with chronic illnesses, ensuring that every participant—regardless of ability—can engage in meaningful, life-changing experiences that promote courage, resilience, and self-belief. On weekends, Matt leads a Recreation Therapy program for a teen treatment center at AJU Brandeis, helping adolescents overcome mental health challenges and substance abuse through experiential and therapeutic activities that foster confidence, emotional regulation, and personal growth.

Now, at All It Takes, Matt is focused on bringing experiential learning and leadership programs to school districts, ensuring that students and educators alike have access to powerful, research-backed SEL experiences. Through district partnerships, professional development trainings, and immersive student programs, Matt is leading efforts to integrate SEL into physical education, leadership initiatives, and school culture programs. He works directly with administrators, teachers, and community leaders to implement AIT’s Notice Choose Act® framework, equipping students with the tools they need to navigate challenges, build healthy relationships, and thrive in their academic and personal lives.

Matt's journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to service and impact, and his role at All It Takes allows him to merge his expertise in therapeutic recreation with his passion for education. Whether he's guiding students through a leadership challenge or helping schools build cultures of trust and resilience, Matt is dedicated to creating spaces where every young person feels seen, supported, and capable of leading positive change.
